Twilight Weekend kicks off with the Twilight Global Challenge, setting the tone for an exciting few days of racing and celebration. More than just a competition, this event gives fans and partners the chance to meet and interact with the professional cyclists who make Twilight so special - turning the racers who fly by on Saturday night into real people with stories, personalities, and passion for the sport.
Elite men and women compete in two heats in head-to-head showdowns on a virtual Twilight course, while riders from around the world join virtually to compete and engage in real time.
Hosted at Live Wire Athens, this immersive event brings together 16 professional riders in person alongside a global community of riders and fans participating virtually - creating a truly international celebration of cycling.
The Twilight Global Challenge blends live racing, global virtual competition, immersive production, and interactive fundraising into one high-impact experience.
RACING WITH PURPOSE
In conjunction with The White Line, our goal is to raise $32,000 through a virtual competition to support participating teams and The White Line.
Locally raised funds will go to create a Kids MTB program at the YWCO. With bikes, helmets, and trail maintenance we hope to donate 20 bikes to the program. Purchase 2 tickets (link to purchase) and we will donate a bike.
Virtual participation is free and open to riders around the world, with donations encouraged.
Through this effort, we will unite teams, virtual riders, and fans worldwide through racing, culture, and community.
