In the late 1990s, the renowned Common People Band split into two groups to meet the soaring demand for their unforgettable performances. "The Original Splitz Band" emerged as a powerhouse, surpassing expectations with their electric stage presence, keeping audiences singing, dancing, and wanting more at every social event. With a vast repertoire spanning decades, "The Original Splitz Band" tailors their music, attire, and vibe to suit any occasion, ensuring non-stop fun and a night to remember.

This five-piece, Athens-based group will take you on a nostalgia-fueled ride, belting out anthems from your favorite ‘90s rock, pop, alternative, country, and hip-hop legends. Get ready to sing along to hits from Matchbox 20, Oasis, Hootie & the Blowfish, Gin Blossoms, Goo Goo Dolls, Blink-182, Weezer, Sister Hazel, Toby Keith, Vanilla Ice, Tag Team, and of course… Better Than Ezra.

So dust off your No Fear shirt, grab your hacky sack and slap bracelet, and let BTBTE "Slide" into town to bring you a "Wonderwall" of ‘90s jams that are sure to be "Everything You Want."

Lovecraft Band

Hailing from Athens, GA, Lovecraft Band is a collective of differently-abled adults that prove music has no boundaries. Always inspiring, they bring explosive energy and infectious joy to every show, whether they’re performing for a group of 10 or a crowd of 1000.

In 2024, they released two singles, “So Good” and “Tupelo,” and had the opportunity to tour nationally, ending the year with an epic show at House of Blues in Chicago. The band is looking forward to the release of a tour documentary produced by Athens’ Chispa House late 2025, as well as a full length album in the years ahead.
